Feng Yu Jiu Tian vol 19 ch. 6 – part 2

Translator: churnie

I’ve been out there for a few years, how can I always be the object to be played with in front of Yu Lang? Just a word from this man can make him extremely suffering.

“My sincerity?” Lie Er glares at him, and after a long while he says with gritting his teeth, “My sincerity has long been thrown into the mud and crushed to ashes. This one on my body is given by Yong Yi, and i don’t have the least bit spare for you Yu Lang!”

He grits his teeth, as if every word is condensed of blood and tears, and he felt even more painful when he said it word by word.

Yu Lang listens quietly, after listening, there’s a trace of sadness escape from his face which rarely change expression, “If you want to hurt me like this, don’t blame me for making you sad.”

He raises his hand and hit twice in the air again, calling the guards in, he takes out two letters from his arms to give to him, and instructs: “Send these two letters quickly. Also, tell the messenger that this is an urgent letter and must be delivered at any cost, even if I order it to be withdrawn, ignore it, as long as the letter is delivered to the recipient, there will be a big reward.”

After the prelude, there’s another knock at the door.

It’s Yu Lang’s confidant, Que Fu, who comes in.

Que Fu walks to Yu Lang and whispers.

Yu Lang softly ‘huh’, immediately stands up, and says to Lie Er: “You take a rest first, I’ll be right back.”

He leads Que Fu out and personally locks the door of the room where Lie Er is imprisoned, and hurries to the elegantly furnished master cabin on the upper floor. When he entered the door and saw the slender and dignified back, he can’t help expressing some slight dissatisfaction, “Zhao Bei is attacked, and the situation in Fan Jia hasn’t yet stabilized, Li kingdom is also in need of important figures in the royal family to help the king calm the hearts of the people. At this time, why did the princess personally come to such a dangerous place for trivial matters? Since Yu Lang has agreed to the matter of Xirei’s Duke Ming, he will do it for the great king, or the princess doesn’t trust Yu Lang’s ability?”

“This is the first time I have heard you complain like this, you won’t be angry because of that Lie Er, will you? It’s really interesting that there’s someone in the world that can make you angry.” The slender figure slowly turns around, revealing an ordinary but noble face, Miao Guang. After mocking, she’s slowly reined in a calm expression, “The Imperial Brother ordered me to come. It’s not that he doesn’t trust your ability, but Duke Ming’s matter has been dragged on for too long, when on earth can it be done?”

Yu Lang takes out a deep breath and calms his mind, after sitting down and thinking for a while, he says, “I would like to ask the princess, the Great King ordered Zhuo Ran to lead the raid on Zhao Bei, does it have anything to do with Duke Ming?”

“The Imperial Brother raided Zhao Bei because Zhao Bei’s national power is the weakest among all the kingdoms, now that there is Fan Jia as the passageway, it’s the easiest and fastest way to occupy Zhao Bei.” Miao Guang composedly says, “The situation in the Tong kingdom is going to be in chaos, although Chang Liu the daughter of The King of Zhao Bei is an Imperial concubine, she has no real power, resulting in a powerless family in-laws. Facts proved that The Imperial Brother’s vision was correct, after Zhao Bei was attacked, there was no movement in the neighboring countries, Xirei was too busy to take care of itself. The King of Yong Yin and Yong Yin’s crown prince were both short-sighted and happily to watch by. The King of Zhao Bei’s daughter is an imperial concubine of the Tong kingdom, but the Tong kingdom doesn’t respond to this matter at all and there is no sign of gathering military forces, so it can be seen that Chang Liu’s status in the Tong kingdom has greatly reduced. But…”

Miao Guang chuckles and glances at Yu Lang. “Your vision is really not to be underestimated, even to ask whether the sneak attack has anything to do with Duke Ming. Let me tell you clearly, it does have something to do with him, because after The King of Zhao Bei was captured alive, Imperial Brother immediately sent a secret letter to Princess Chang Liu who is in the Tong kingdom, threatening her to help you hide the truth about Wen Lan, so that Duke Ming could quickly fall into the trap. Before I left Li kingdom, I haven’t received a reply from Princess Chang Liu, so I don’t know how she would respond to my Imperial Brother. By the way, one thing I’m really surprised is that Duke Ming has been staying in the Tong kingdom for so long, aren’t you afraid that he will run into Princess Chang Liu and reveal your fake Du Feng identity?”

Yu Lang smiles faintly, seemingly confident.

Miao Guang is also a very smart person, she doesn’t ask any further and says softly, “From the way you look, I knew you didn’t tell me everything. Since you think that this plan will be successful, I think it’s difficult for Duke Ming to escape this time..”

The maid brings hot tea, and the two sit opposite each other for refreshment.

Yu Lang has been dealing with Yong Yi’s chasing troops recently, taking the opportunity to ask Miao Guang about the latest situation of the Li kingdom’s imperial court. “I heard that after the great king regained his consciousness, the princes, dukes and ministers fearing that the great king would be unable to govern, had asked the great king to appoint another queen for four times in a row, what is the great king’s plan?”

Miao Guang’s thin face escape a trace of gloom, and she replies, “Imperial Brother has made up his mind about this matter.”

“Oh? What decision the great king has made?”

“He takes a fancy on a woman and had asked her to marry him. As long as the woman nodded, she would be able to ascend to the position of the queen of Li kingdom and seal the mouths of all princes, dukes and ministers. The most wonderful thing is that this woman has no support from other kingdoms behind her, and she won’t impede the Imperial Brother’s decision, and she is by no means a mediocre woman.”

Yu Lang’s expression becomes a little ugly and his tone becomes cold. “The woman that the Great King is going to marry will not be that Meiji, right?”

Miao Guang nods.

Yu Lang’s skill on hiding his expression has always been amazing, but at this moment he suddenly change color showing displeasure and shouts in a low voice: “The king has gone too far! After she became Li kingdom’s queen, she will give birth to a crown prince for the great king in the future and inherit the great cause, how can he be so casual? Isn’t this too obvious to the whole world that although he married the queen, he’s still full of ambitions for Xirei’s Duke Ming? Otherwise, with so many beautiful women in the world, why marry a woman who once belonged to Rong Tian?”

“Imperial Brother has guessed that you will be angry.” Miao Guang says indifferently, “He asked me to tell you that you’re absolutely right, and that you don’t have to go back and talk to him in vain. He won’t give up this idea, he must get this man Duke Ming. For the sake of Li kingdom’s great cause, Imperial Brother is willing to nod his head and marry again, which is his last concession as a king, but no one is qualified to decide which woman to marry for him.”

After repeating Ruo Yan’s words, Miao Guang smiles bitterly, “Don’t you know Imperial Brother’s personality? What he is determined to pay attention to, not to mention you, even this biological sister dare not stand in the way. However, it’s probably this kind of indomitable domineering that makes people like you willing to give up their lives to follow it.”

Yu Lang consciously lost his temper, restraining his dissatisfaction, slowly let out a smile at the corners of his mouth, but the bottom of his heart is covered with a layer of gloom.

The King of Li Kingdom Ruo Yan is indeed the hero in his mind, he is ambitious and outstandingly courageous, unlike the hypocritical nobles. Unscrupulous, decisive, and ruthless to achieve goals are all necessary conditions for unifying this chaotic world.

However, Xirei’s Duke Ming has repeatedly affected The King of Li’s decision.

If this situation can’t be changed, the Li kingdom’s great cause of the unification will be threatened.

After having a deep conversation with Miao Guang, Yu Lang summons Que Fu, arranges a special resting place for Miao Guang, and returns to the room where Lie Er is imprisoned after the meeting.

The bad news come one after another, and Yu Lang doesn’t feel good at all.

Lie Er’s attitude hasn’t yet softened, which is beyond Yu Lang’s expectation, and the news brought by Miao Guang further confirms that the Great King’s obsession with Duke Ming has reached a worrying level.

The spies were sent out one after another, but they were still unable to find out the exact whereabouts of The King of Xirei Rong Tian. On Dong Fan’s side, Rong Tian’s newly appointed Prime Minister Lie Zhong Liu is already building a new weapons factory and conscripting troops at the same time.

Therefore, although Yu Lang remains calm on the surface, his mood when entering the door is actually much more violent than when he goes out.

Seeing Lie Er sitting in the room, doesn’t even turn his head when hearing the sound of the door lock being opened, this uncooperative attitude is like adding fuel to the fire, a black malice is suddenly surged into his heart.

He walks behind Lie Er and suddenly as if recalling something he says: “I once pretended to be Du Feng, boarded the Xiao Family ship, and met Duke Ming. As I boarded the ship, I saw from a distance a man leaving the Xiao Family ship, and the figure of that person made me feel very familiar. After coming back, I thought about it again and again, and finally remembered who this man was and where I had seen him before.”

Seeing him enter the door and saying such an inexplicable memory, Lie Er also feels strange that he can’t help but looking back at him.

“It turned out that this familiar figure is a famous person in Yong Yin’s Crown Prince’s palace, and everyone called him Young Master Liu.”

Lie Er suddenly trembles and his face turns pale.

“As a person from Yong Yin’s Crown Prince’s palace, secretly met with Xirei’s Duke Ming in the middle of the night, he must be the spy of Xirei to ambush Yong Yin, right? If Yong Yin’s Crown Prince knew about this person, there would be no way for this person to survive.” Yu Lang stops, as for Yong Yin’s crown prince, the content is of course to expose the true face of the spy of the ambush beside him.

He lets out a sigh, opens his eyes, and meets Lie Er’s angry and incredibly emotional eyes, he then says coldly: “The letter has been sent a long time ago, and now even if I order it to be withdrawn, the messenger will ignore it. Lie Er, I have given you a chance, but unfortunately you ignored it and a chess piece painstakingly buried by your own great king will be killed in vain.”

Lie Er screams, jumps up and stretches out his arms, looking ferociously wants to choke Yu Lang by the neck.

However, he’s imprisoned for many days and his body is so weak, so he misses his grasp and instead, he’s hugged by Yu Lang and pressed hard on the bed.

Lie Er shouts, “Yu Lang! You animal!”

“I hate you! I hate you!”

“I won’t let you off! I will definitely avenge Xiao Liu Er!”

Lie Er shouts sadly.

The handsome cheeks have lost their blood color long ago, tears welled up from his eyes, making his cheeks icy-cold.

Yu Lang hugs the desperately struggling Lie Er and kisses his cold cheek, he affectionately and bitterly says: “Lie Er, do you think that if you don’t like me anymore, you won’t be hurt by me? Lie you are wrong. I can make you cry if i want to.”

He seals Lie Er’s trembling lips and kisses it so hard that Lie Er’s cry and anger are sealed in the depths, not to leak the slightest.

At this moment, Yu Lang understands.

He hates Lie Er spitting out the name ‘Yong Yi’ so much that he’s driven crazy.

This hatred makes it difficult for him to remain calm, and even take unscrupulous ways to retaliate, using the method that make Lie Er suffer the most to punish Lie Er who has had change of heart.

Yu Lang has longed for this boy who used to like to smile to be in his arms, to love him, but he can’t help hating him and hurting him, so that he no longer dare to leave him, dare not lean into the arms of another man.

Yu Lang smiles bitterly.

People like him really don’t deserve to mention the word love.

I don’t know what to say… so sad…so tragic… Yu Lang is how he is, he’s created with such character that is pure malicious, even the way he loves someone is so cruel and looks like psycho…or he’s a real psycho.

This chapter should be SHORT but it gives me such a headache because the paragraphs are so long, i feel tired just seeing the long paragraph not to mention seeing it in HANZI words, i screamed in my brain while translating it “why do you have to talk so much”. Ugh…. a lil bit bitterness in translating.

  1. Sorry that the chapter gave a migraine Churnie, hoping the next is a snap

Agreed about YL but poor Li’er is who I feel for the most. At this point with those letters sent, his rescue or even escape is pretty well non-existent. The poor kid cannot even commit suicide to find release from this disgusting person.
